The Palmetto invisible man was an invisible entity that was encountered only once in Palmetto State Park near Austin, Texas, by an anonymous witness.
Obviously, the Invisible Man is unable to be seen, but it was described as being large and heavy based on the way it was able to bend tall grass.

Many years back, my wife gave me a camera for Christmas. I took pictures everywhere, spending a lot of time photographing in Palmetto State Park near Austin.
One time, I had been out roaming around, and on my way back to my truck, I felt like someone was following me. I turned around; not a person in sight. I quickened my pace, but things only got worse. Soon I could hear footsteps behind me and off to the side. "Just make it back to the car," I kept telling myself, "and everything will be fine."
No one else was around, unfortunately. I was completely spooked and broke out into a full run. I tripped at one point and landed on my face, then rolled over, sat up, and looked back down the trail. I couldn't believe what I saw. Or more accurately, I couldn't believe what I didn't see.
I saw the tall grass off to the side of the trail getting flattened and parting, as if someone was pushing their way through it. But there was no one there. I jumped up and broke out into a full sprint until I was inside my car. I quickly took off, without even catching my breath, and felt something hit the car from behind as I sped off.
I thought for a long time that I had gone completely insane. But apparently, there are many stories of an invisible man who lives in this park. It made me feel better, even a bit proud. I am one of the few who has encountered it firsthand. I guess I don't need to tell you this, but I did not get a shot of it with my new camera. [sic]
